VolunTOTS is proud to introduce the Bridge to Home project, which aims to bring resources and attention to agencies that are doing the important work of supporting families in all parts of the adoption triad.

Bridge to Home identifies foster care agencies across the country and helps connect volunteers with these organizations to help renovate their visitation rooms. Visitation rooms are where children in the foster care system can meet for supervised visits with their biological parents.

Why should we support bio parents? Because the goal of foster care is always reunification, meaning the parents will work through their problems and the child will be returned to their custody. By showing these visitation rooms some TLC, we believe that we can send an important message to bio parents: We believe in you. You can do this. It takes a village.
